Dr. Alexandre González-Rodríguez obtained his Bachelor's Degree in Medicine at the University of Barcelona in 2008. He did his residency in Psychiatry (2009-2013) at the Department of Psychiatry and Psychology, Hospital Clinic of Barcelona. In 2013, he received the Premi Emili Letang award for his project on Postpartum Depression. His research interests are gender differences in schizophrenia, particularly the influence of reproductive status, hormonal and genetic factors on antipsychotic response, as well as clinical trajectories and response to antipsychotic medications in delusional disorder. He is Coordinator of Mental Health Outpatient Clinics at the Mutua Terrassa University Hospital, University of Barcelona.
