Yujiao Lu received his BS in Physics from Huainan Normal University, China. He then received his PhD "with Distinction" from Augusta University. His research has contributed significantly to our understanding of the actions and importance of brain-derived estrogen in the brain, and has helped to delineate the specific actions of astrocyte-derived estrogen and neuron-derived estrogen in physiological and pathological processes.
