Dr. Victoria Nambasa is a pharmacist with 10 years of experience in medicine regulation, with core expertise in pharmacovigilance and quality assurance of medicines. She holds a master’s degree in Pharmacovigilance and Pharmacoepidemiology (Universite de Bordeaux), a master’s degree in Pharmaceuticals and Health Supplies Management, and a bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy (Makerere University). She has experience working with medicine regulation, having carried out several safety studies. She currently works as a manager of pharmacovigilance at the National Drug Authority in Uganda. She has worked to strengthen pharmacovigilance in Uganda, mainly by setting up a patient safety program in public healthcare systems.
