Giuseppe Cassone (1987) is currently a tenure researcher at the Institute for Chemical and Physical Processes of the Italian National Research Council (Messina, Italy). He received his PhD diploma in 2016 in the Physics and Chemistry of Materials at the Université Pierre et Marie Curie - Sorbonne (Paris, France) and performed postdoctoral research at the Institute of Biophysics of the Czech Academy of Sciences (Brno, Czechia). He received the Seal of Excellence by the European Commission for a Marie-Curie Individual Fellowship proposal and the Rutherford International Fellowship Programme conferred by the Rutherford Appleton Laboratory at the Scientific Computing Dept. (Harwell Oxford, UK). He is among the PIs of the "National Centre for High Performance Computing, Big Data and Quantum Computing". Giuseppe has co-authored over 45 scientific articles, 2 book chapters and co-edited 1 book.
