Valerio Fulci is an Associate Professor at the Department of Molecular Medicine, Sapienza University of Rome. He graduated in Molecular Biology (cum laude) from Sapienza University of Rome and received his PhD in Human Biology, Molecular and Cellular Bases in 2005. Then, he continued postdoctoral research at the same place in 2006–2008. His research interests include miRNAs in leukemias and lymphocyte activation, and lincRNAs AGO2 protein. The research activity of his lab is focused on the transcriptional and post-transcriptional gene expression regulation mechanisms, and in particular on the role of non-coding RNAs (miRNAs, lncRNAs) in this scenario.
