Asoke K Nandi received his Ph.D. degree in high-energy physics (1979) from the University of Cambridge, Cambridge, U.K. He is now professor (and former head of Electronic and Computer Engineering) of Signal Processing and Machine Learning, Brunel University, London, Uxbridge, Middlesex. Dr. Nandi is a fellow of the Royal Academy of Engineering, a fellow of the Institution of Mechanical Engineers, a fellow of the Institution of Engineering and Technology and a fellow of three other institutions, including IEEE. His research is focused on signal processing and machine learning research. He has made fundamental theoretical and algorithmic contributions to many aspects of signal processing and machine learning.
