Biography
Dr. Md. Monirul Islam completed his Ph.D. on 25 March 2022 at the Graduate School of Life and Environmental Sciences, University of Tsukuba, Japan. Dr. Islam completed his Master's and Bachelor's degrees in Agricultural Economics from Bangladesh Agricultural University, Bangladesh. In his professional life, he has been working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Agricultural Economics, at Bangladesh Agricultural University, Bangladesh. He has been recruited as a lecturer in the Department of Agricultural Economics and is now working as an Associate Professor in the same department. His research interests focus on the fields of climate change, GIS and remote sensing, vulnerability assessment and geospatial crop insurance, land use policy, and food security.
