Prof. Dr. Iván Pau received the Ph.D. degree in accessible system and services from the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid (UPM), Spain. He is currently a Professor of telematics engineering with UPM and the Head of the InnoTep Research Group. His research background is in smart and pervasive environments (smart home and smart schools), user-oriented security, and innovation ecosystems management. His current research interest includes the study of security and interaction issues in the conceptualization and development of sociotechnical services in the fields of health and education.
