Ljudevit Krpan PhD was born on 21 January 1975 in Rijeka, Republic of Croatia. He is an electrical engineer and a graduate traffic engineer. At the Faculty of Maritime Studies, University of Rijeka, he obtained the scientific title of Doctor of Science by defending his doctoral dissertation entitled "Integral spatial-traffic model of urban planning". He is currently working as the Head of the Administrative Department for Regional Development, Infrastructure, and Project Management of the Primorje-Gorski Kotar County. In addition, he is employed at the University North as a full professor where he teaches a group of courses related to regional development, traffic planning, and project management.
