Dr. Damian Kołat, MSc, BSc, is a Ph.D. student at the Department of Biomedicine and Experimental Surgery, Medical University of Lodz, Lodz, Poland, and a co-investigator in the student research and development project Farm@Bio. He is passionate about topics in the field of molecular biology and genetic engineering and related to computer equipment (hardware & software). His major research interests concern the role of AP-2 transcription factors in tumors, the role of a global transcription modulator WWOX, as well as aspects related to non-coding RNAs.
