Stefano Caputo received M.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering in 2016 and Ph.D. degree in Information Engineering in 2020 from the University of Florence, Italy. During the 2010-2011, he spent an 18-month period of work as Mechanical Engineer in the research and development of automation solutions for industry. He is currently a postdoctoral research fellow at the Department of Information Engineering of the University of Florence. His main research areas include theoretical modelling, algorithm design and real measurements, mainly focused on visible light communications and molecular communications. His work also includes physical-layer security and light cryptography, sensors and V2V/V2I communication in Automotive field, localization and body area networks. His research activity is proven by papers published in international journals and conferences.
