Mexican-Spanish translational drug discovery scientist and postdoctoral researcher at the University of Granada, Spain. My research integrates medicinal chemistry, molecular modelling and experimental biology to develop innovative therapeutic strategies for diseases with unmet medical needs. My interests include rational drug design, structure-based drug discovery, enzyme inhibition, targeted protein degradation and rare diseases, particularly primary hyperoxaluria and cancer. I am also interested in translational research, scientific innovation and the development of interdisciplinary approaches that bridge chemistry, computation and biology.
