Susana Martínez-Pellitero is a full-time Associate Professor of Manufacturing Engineering at the University of León (Spain). She received her MSc in 2002 at the University of Salamanca and her PhD from the University of León in 2015. She is member of the TAFI Research Group and the 3D Manufacturing and Printing Unit (UFI3D). She has a particular interest in the integration of optical techniques for the dimensional and geometrical measurement of additive manufactured parts, as well as the measurement of their surface topography. Her research includes Knowledge Based Engineering (KBE) techniques focused on Dimensional Metrology and different Additive Manufacturing technologies and materials.
