The current research study is focusing on a mathematical model for free convection boundary flow on a horizontal circular cylinder in a viscoelastic nanofluid has been constructed in this paper with boundary conditions constant heat flux. The Tiwari and Das Nanofluid model have been chosen in this analysis to investigate more nanofluid effects. A dimensionless set of partial differential equations is formed by using suitable non-dimensional variables. The transformed boundary layer equations are solved numerically using a finite difference scheme namely the Keller-box method. The effects of a few chosen factors on flow and heat transmission are investigated. Numerical solutions were obtained for the reduced skin friction coefficient, Nusselt number and Sherwood number as well as the velocity and temperature profiles. The features of the flow and heat transfer characteristics for various values of the viscoelastic parameter and nanoparticles volume fraction were analysed and discussed.

This study aims to develop a mathematical model for analyzing Lassa fever transmission dynamics and proposing effective control measures. The stability of the Lassa fever-free equilibrium point is examined and the model's accuracy is assessed using real-world data. Additionally, the parameter values and the basic reproduction number are estimated. A sensitivity analysis is also conducted, which identifies the key drivers influencing transmission dynamics. Moreover, the impact of model parameters on basic reproduction numbers is investigated. Multiple control methodologies including use of Ribavirin, implementing mobile health technology and incorporating natural predators are devised and analyzed using optimal control theory to curtail virus transmission.

In this paper, the application of Caputo fractional derivative on unsteady boundary layer Casson fluid flow in a microchannel is studied. The partial differential equations which governed the problem are considered with the presence of thermal radiation. The fractional partial differential equations are transformed into dimensionless governing equations using appropriate dimensionless variables. It is then solved analytically using the Laplace transform technique which transforms the equations into linear ordinary differential equations. These transformed equations are then solved using the appropriate method, and the inverse Laplace transform technique is applied to obtain the solution in form of velocity and temperature profiles. Graphical illustrations are acquired using Mathcad software and the influence of important physical parameters on velocity and temperature profiles are analyzed. Results show that thermal radiation and fractional parameter have enhanced the velocity and temperature profiles.
Non–Newtonian fluids have grown in popularity across a wide range of engineering disciplines. Generalized Oldroyd–B fluids are a type of non–Newtonian fluid that may mimic the behavior of many dilute polymeric liquids. On the other hand, heat transmission is important because it has industrial applications. The use of nanofluids, which have a higher heat transfer capacity, can enhance the overall efficiency of the thermal system. Therefore, this research considers the generalized Oldroyd–B nanofluid over a horizontal plate. The nonlinear fractional model is solved using the finite difference method. The integer order derivatives are integrated using the Crank–Nicolson method whereas the time fractional derivatives are evaluated using the Caputo derivative. The simulations are carried out in MATLAB software. The results revealed that the retardation time parameter slow downs the fluid. The heat transfer rates increased with increasing values of the nanoparticle volume fraction. The heat transfer of regular fluid increased by 9.4% on adding nanoparticles.
