Hamid Ghanbari received the B.Sc. degree in geomatics engineering and the master’s degree in remote sensing from the School of Surveying and Geospatial Engineering, College of Engineering, University of Tehran, Tehran, Iran, in 2014 and 2016, respectively. He is currently working toward the Ph.D. degree with the Department of Geography, Université Laval, Québec, QC, Canada. His studies focused on hyperspectral imaging of sediment cores. His research interests include hyperspectral image classification, multitemporal and multisensor image analysis, and machine learning.
