Sheila V. Graham is currently Professor of Molecular Virology at the Centre for Virus Research, Institute of Infection Immunity and Inflammation, College of Medical Veterinary and Life Sciences, University of Glasgow, UK. She completed her Ph.D. studies at the Beatson Institute for Cancer Research. She has a career-long interest in gene regulation in infectious agents. Currently, she works on RNA-based mechanisms of gene regulation in DNA viruses. She is a member of the Microbiology Society, the Biochemical Society, the American Society for Microbiology, and the International Papillomavirus Society. She is Chair of the Biochemical Society.
