Prof. Dr. Jue-Liang Hsu received the B.Sc. degree from National Chung-Hsing University, in 1995, and the M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees from National Taiwan University, in 1997 and 2001. He is a Professor in the Department of Biological Science and Technology National Pingtung University of Science and Technology, Taiwan. He has over 100 research publications in the fields of biotechnology, natural products, analytical chemistry, system biology (Proteomics, Peptidomics & metabolomics), and functional foods. He has received several awards, including the Young Scientist Award (HUPO 3rd Annual World Congress, 2004), Excellent Teaching Award from College of Agriculture, NPUST (2011 & 2015), Ministry of Science and Technology Research Award in Colleges (2014–2023), and NPUST R&D Competition Award (Biotechnology & Medicine category) (2014 & 2020). His research interests mainly focus on active peptides, natural products, proteomics, and innovative analytical methods.
