Prof. Jianlin Cheng is a Curators' Distinguished Professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, University of Missouri, Columbia, MO, USA, where he directs the Bioinformatics and Machine Learning Lab (BML). He received his Ph.D. degree in Information and Computer Science from the University of California Irvine in 2006. He is a fellow of the American Institute for Medical and Biological Engineering (AIMBE) and a fellow of the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS).
