The scientific field within I have research is the examination of the productivity components of field plants. I had research on cereals (wheat, rye, triticale, corn) and industrial plants (soybeans, oilseed rape, tobacco). I started scientific research on hops, namely our nature is rich in wild hop populations. I research the genetic resources of cereals and industrial plants (wild relatives, obsolete varieties, local population). Also, my doctoral dissertation was "Anatomical-morphological and histological evaluation of triticale productivity (X Triticosecale Wittmack)". In the research are observed the process of growth and development at the level of cells and tissues that have a key role in the formation and realization of yielding potential. As a special approach to the research is set question about differentiation of endosperm tissue which seeks to be observed at the level of the target tissue in cereal production, I also study process of cereal embryogenesis.
