Agnieszka Ćwirlej-Sozańska is an academic teacher at Medical College University of Rzeszów. She is the Doctor of Medical Sciences, Executive MBA, Deputy Director of the Institute of Health Sciences, and Head of the Laboratory of Gerontoprophylaxis in Natural Sciences and Medical Centre for Innovative Research, University of Rzeszów. She did the postgraduate degree in “Human Resource Management” at the University of Information Technology and Management in Rzeszów and “Management of Research Projects and Development Works” at the University of Economics and Innovation in Lublin. She also supervises the Students' Scientific Circle of Physiotherapy in Geriatrics and Health Prevention. Her research focuses on the oldest part of the population with health problems, particularly in areas: assessment of health, functioning and disability, and quality of life; assessment of measurement tools in the context of the assessment of functional status and disability of older people; and interventions to reduce disability and improve physical and cognitive performance.
