Prof. dr hab. n.med. i n o zdr. Małgorzata Skucha-Nowak In 1998, I obtained the title of Doctor of Dental Science based on the specialization exam in general dentistry. In 2006, I was granted the title of periodentology specialist based on a state exam. Professional work: since 1997, I have been a full-time employee as a scientist and teacher at the Medical Academy of Silesia. 1997-2009: Assistant at the Department of Conservative Dentistry and Periodontal Diseases of SUM. 2009–2017: Assistant Professor at the Department of Conservative Dentistry with Endodontics. Since 2017: Chief of the Department and Unit of Dental Propedeutics. Since 2019: Vice Dean of Division of Medical Sciences in Zabrze, the Medical University of Silesia in Katowice; author and co-author of 214 scientific publications in domestic and foreign journals, chapters in textbooks and conference summaries. Scientific societies: Polish Dental Association, Polish Society for Biomedical Engineering, Polish Society of Medical and Dental Education, and Sapientia. Co-author of the patent entitled Dental Infiltrant.
