A method for modeling hydraulic systems of hydromechanical devices based on the application of the volume rigidity theory - the property of the hydraulic system to keep its volume unchanged when the pressure of the working medium changes is proposed. The main analytical dependencies intended for modeling the hydraulic system are presented. An example of simulation and calculation of a hydromechanical shock absorber system which confirms the correctness and convenience of using the volume rigidity theory in modeling hydromechanical drive systems of complex machines is presented. The results of the numerical experiment make it possible to evaluate the functioning quality of the drive system under investigation to reveal the effect of the main design and system functional parameters on its operation. The graphs of the change in the main functional parameters of the shock absorber under investigation in real time are given, which make it possible to visually evaluate the results of a numerical experiment and draw conclusions about the need for modernization.
In this article “Projection of a Hydraulic Pressure Drive with Application of Partial Synthesis” for the best comprehension and also receiving more complete picture, definitions of the term projection are considered, some fields of activity in which it is applied, namely technological, agricultural mechanical engineering etc are listed. An important part of cars, the drive is, the hydraulic actuator is most often applied – projection of which will be described in this article. First of all the existing technique projection of a hydraulic actuator is considered and its principle is described and shortcomings are designated. For carrying out a better designing process the new technique of projection of a hydraulic pressure drive which includes a stage of partial synthesis is offered. This stage allows explaining the theory of a volume rigidity which in turn allows to simplify calculations because it is possible to count several options of preliminary structures at the same time that will lead to receiving a hydraulic actuator with the best parameters, unlike the previous considered technique.
The aim of this article is to create a control system for a constant hydraulic power source pressure, a pump -battery power source equipped with an original design of the hydraulic pump discharge machine that provides relay switching of its operation mode. This aim is achieved by using a simulation method based on the application of volumetric stiffness theory of hydraulic systems and their elements. As a result of a numerical experiment conducted by solving the equations that make up the mathematical model of power supply, its main technical characteristics and the influence of its main design parameters on its functional features and operational properties are obtained. The obtained results showed that by changing the various design parameters of unloading machine, it is possible not only to change the upper (maximum) and lower (minimum) values of the battery charging pressure, but also to adjust their difference depending on the requirements for the power source. The main result of this study is that as a result of a numerical experiment, it is proved that the unloading machine provides a clear relay switching of the pump operation mode from unloading to operating mode and Vice versa. The identified properties make a very promising use of a pump -battery power source in the hydraulic systems of mobile machines and process equipment.
The paper based on the analysis of the working conditions of railway transport shows that, ceteris paribus, an increase in actual durability and mean time before failure of rolling stock units is obtained through maintenance of wheelsets, especially during logistic processes on nonmechanized humps. One of the main causes for the service life decrease of wheelsets is brake damage. To eliminate such brake damage on highways, on-board braking dis-tance regulators mounted on the locomotive are used. In the hump yards, using such systems is not possible, since under marshalling, cars are detached from the locomotive. In this regard, an industrial challenge turns up to design a similar in purpose braking distance regulator for humps through skidding. To solve this problem, we developed a method of controlling the speed of cars to be sorted, which complements the widely used technology of the shoe braking and avoids the formation of one-way sliders. The paper presents a skid adjuster, which excludes brake damage to the rolling stock wheels by the slides on the humps using the shoe braking techniques. The motion equation of the rolling stock equipped with a skid adjuster on the hump tracks is developed. In the result of this study, an equation of car motion in the system of “rolling stock Hughes regulator way” allowing to enter the working elements of Hughes controller to an existing and debugged algorithm of any slides with minimal change it.
