Yoshizo Matsuka completed his D.D.S. and Ph.D. at Okayama University in Japan. He finished his hospital residency program and was Assistant Professor at the School of Dentistry, University of California Los Angeles. He was also Associate Professor of Oral Rehabilitation and Regenerative Medicine, Okayama University Graduate School of Medicine, Dentistry and Pharmaceutical Sciences. He is currently Professor and Chair at the Department of Stomatognathic Function and Occlusal Reconstruction, Institute of Health Biosciences, Tokushima University. Dr. Matsuka’s research is focused on oral function, neurotransmitter release from sensory ganglia and the clinical epidemiology of prosthodontics.
