Yongtao Yu (M’16-SM’19) received his PhD degree in computer science and technology from Xiamen University, Xiamen, China, in 2015. He is currently an associate professor with the Faculty of Computer and Software Engineering, Huaiyin Institute of Technology, Huaian, China. He has authored or coauthored over 50 research papers published in refereed journals. His research interests include intelligent transportation systems, computer vision, deep learning, and intelligent interpretation of 3-D point clouds and remotely sensed imagery.
