In 1998, I graduated as an ingénieur of the University of Toulon-Var, France (equivalent to MSc) in Numerical Modelling and Applied Mathematics. I received the Ph.D. degree in Applied Mathematics from the University of Toulon-Var, France, in 2003. Since 2004, working at EUMETSAT. First I worked on the development and implementation of retrieval algorithms to infer aerosol optical depth and surface albedo from the SEVIRI instrument. Since 2010, my work is focused on the radiometric calibration of reflective solar bands from radiometers aboard geostationary and polar satellites. Among others, it involves vicarious calibration over desert, oceans, lunar calibration and inter-calibration within the context of GSICS activities. Since 2011, I am a member of the GSICS Research Working Group.
