Remus Crețan is specialized in Human Geography. He is Full Professor at West University of Timisoara. His research is more focused on critical studies dealing with regional, urban and rural developments. He specifically studies historical geographies, place naming, gender-related issues, heritage tourism and social justice, and environmental politics.
