Rosaria A. Puglisi received her MD (cum laude) in Physics and the Ph.D. in Materials Science from the University of Catania. During her PhD she worked for one year with Prof. Harry A. Atwater at the University of Caltech, Pasadena (Los Angeles), group which she joined again in Oct-Nov 2021, in the framework of a CNR short term mobility program. Senior Researcher at CNR-IMM, Rosaria has developed and coordinated various
lines of scientific research on silicon-based nanotechnologies and is currently the reference person for CNR-IMM, Catania site, for the technological area “Synthesis & Micro- Nanofabrication”. Member of the Professors Board of the PhD in Physics of the University of Messina since
2017, she has taught in several PhD and Master courses, in Italy and abroad; has been co-tutor for 8 PhD theses, 4 Master theses and 1 Bachelor thesis, and has been the scientific responsible, on behalf of IMM, of several scholarships and research grants. She is author of two review articles, two book chapters and two patents owned by CNR. Rosaria serves as Guest Editor, Editor Board member, Review Editor member and Topic Editor member in several JCR scientific Journals, and has held several invited, award and keynote talks at international scientific conferences.
