He has been a top 2% scientist worldwide for the past 3 years, recognized by Stanford University. He was a Rising Star of Science in Australia 2023 (top 15 in Australia, recognized by Research.com). His expertise and research interests include various separation technologies for desalination, water treatment, water reuse, resources (e.g., energy, metals and nutrients) recovery, carbon capture and utilization, and energy generation. He is doing interdisciplinary research involving environmental engineering, chemical engineering and materials engineering.
