Prof. Krzysztof Okarma works at the Department of Signal Processing and Multimedia Engineering of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering of the West Pomeranian University of Technology in Szczecin (WPUT). He received two M.S. degrees from the Szczecin University of Technology, Poland, in electronics and telecommunication in 1999 with honors and in computer science in 2001. He also obtained a Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering in 2003, a habilitation degree in automation and robotics from the WPUT in 2013, and finally the title of professor in 2024. He is the author or co-author of over 200 papers and holds two patents. He is the chairman of the Board of Control in the Polish chapter of the Association for Image Processing (IAPR). His scientific interests include computer and machine vision and image processing and analysis, particularly image quality assessment and signal processing methods.
