Luca Foschini graduated from the University of Bologna, Italy, where he received a PhD in Computer Science Engineering, in 2007. He is currently an Associate Professor of Computer Engineering at the University of Bologna. His interests include integrated management of distributed systems and services, wireless pervasive computing, scalable context data distribution infrastructures, and context-aware services. He is currently working on mobile crowdsensing/crowdsourcing and the management of cloud systems for smart city environments.
