Dr. Javier Del Ser obtained his first Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Navarra, Spain, in 2006, followed by a second Ph.D. degree in Computational Intelligence from the University of Alcala, Spain, in 2013. He currently serves as a Research Professor in Artificial Intelligence at TECNALIA, Spain, and a Distinguished Researcher at the University of the Basque Country (UPV/EHU). His research interests encompass the design of artificial intelligence methodologies for data mining and optimization applied to various sectors, including industry, energy, mobility, and health, among others. He has published over 450 scientific articles, co-supervised 20 Ph.D. theses, edited eight books, and co-authored nine patents. Dr. Del Ser is also an Associate Editor for leading journals within fields related to artificial intelligence.
