Therese Hesketh is Professor of Global Health at University College London and Zhejiang University. Most of her research is conducted in China, where she has worked for over 20 years. Her current research interests include the impact of the educational environment on the mental health of school age children, and the development of interventions to improve psychosocial well-being of children.
