Mohd Soperi Mohd Zahid received a Ph.D. degree in Computer Science from the University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee, WI, USA, in 2009. He served as a faculty member with Universiti Teknologi Malaysia since 1998 before joining the Department of Computer and Information Sciences at Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS, Malaysia, as an Associate Professor in 2017. Besides teaching computer science undergraduate and graduate courses, he has conducted some short courses on machine learning. Mohd Soperi has published over fifty peer-reviewed journal and conference publications pertaining to network protocols and the digitalization of healthcare services. His current research interests include machine learning for computer networking and healthcare.
