The Estevez-Mansfield-Clarkson (EMC) equation and the (2+1)-dimensional Riemann wave (RW) equation are important mathematical models in nonlinear science, engineering and mathematical physics which have remarkable applications in the field of plasma physics, fluid dynamics, optics, image processing etc. Generally, through the sine-Gordon expansion (SGE) method only the lower-dimensional nonlinear evolution equations (NLEEs) are examined. However, the method has not yet been extended of finding solutions to the higher-dimensional NLEEs. In this article, the SGE method has been developed to rummage the higher-dimensional NLEEs and established steady soliton solutions to the earlier stated NLEEs by putting in use the extended higher-dimensional sine-Gordon expansion method. Scores of soliton solutions are figure out which confirms the compatibility of the extended SGE method. The solutions are analyzed for both lower and higher-dimensional nonlinear evolution equations through sketching graphs for alternative values of the associated parameters. From the figures it is notable to perceive that the characteristic of the solutions depend upon the choice of the parameters. This study might play an impactful role in analyzing higher-dimensional NLEEs through the extended SGE approach.
The improved F-expansion method combined with Riccati equation is one of the most effective analytical methods in finding the exact traveling wave solutions to non-linear evolution equations in mathematical physics. In this article, this method is implemented to investigate new exact solutions to the Drinfel’d–Sokolov–Wilson (DSW) equation and the Burgers equation. The performance of this method is reliable, direct, and simple to execute compared to other existing methods. The obtained solutions in this work are imperative and significant for the explanation of some practical physical phenomena.
In the field of nonlinear optics, quantum mechanics, condensed matter physics, and wave propagation in rigid and other nonlinear instability phenomena, the nonlinear Schrödinger equation has significant applications. In this study, the soliton solutions of the space-time fractional cubic nonlinear Schrödinger equation with Kerr law nonlinearity are investigated using an extended direct algebraic method. The solutions are found in the form of hyperbolic, trigonometric, and rational functions. Among the established solutions, some exhibit wide spectral and typical characteristics, while others are standard. Various types of well-known solitons, including kink-shape, periodic, V-shape, and singular kink-shape solitons, have been extracted here. To gain insight into the internal formation of these phenomena, the obtained solutions have been depicted in two- and three-dimensional graphs with different parameter values. The obtained solitons can be employed to explain many complicated phenomena associated with this model.
Nonlinear evolution equations (NLEEs) of fractional order play important role to explain the inner mechanisms of complex phenomena in various fields of the real world. In this article, nonlinear evolution equations of fractional order; namely, the (3+1)-dimensional space-time fractional modified KdV-Zakharov-Kuznetsov equation, the time fractional biological population model and the space-time fractional modified regularized long-wave equation are revealed for seeking closed form analytic solutions. The offered equations are first transformed into ordinary differential equations of integer order with the help of a suitable composite transformation and the conformable fractional derivative. Then the rational $(G'/G)$-expansion method, which is reliable, efficient and computationally attractive, is employed to construct the traveling wave solutions successfully. The obtained solutions are appeared to be exact, much more new and general than the existing results in the literature.
