Prof. Bin Lin was born in 1963. He received the M.S. degree in mechanical engineering from Tianjin University, Tianjin, China, in 1993. Currently, he is a Deputy Director in the Key Laboratory of Advanced Ceramics and Machining Technology, Ministry of Education, Tianjin, China, and a professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Tianjin University. His research interests include high-precision machining of ceramics and composites, theory and technology of structural and electronic ceramics application, and design and analysis of optic and microwave devices.
