Dr. Wenzhe Ho is a tenured professor at the Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine, Temple University School of Medicine. Dr. Ho received his medical, research and public health training at the Wuhan University Medical School, China, and the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine (U. Penn), USA. He has served on the faculty of U. Penn since 1993 and was promoted to full professor in
2005 before he moved to the Temple University School of Medicine in September 2009. Dr. Ho is a viral immunologist, and his research has been focused on host cell innate immunity and viral infections, particularly HIV in the context of drug abuse. Dr. Ho has published over 200 peer-reviewed papers, editorials, review and chapters.
