Dr. Fabiana Piscitelli graduated with a degree in Chemistry from the University of Naples “Federico II” in 2006, and in 2008, she completed her master’s degree in Chemical Sciences. She received a PhD in Neurobiology from the University of Insubria in Busto Arsizio (VA) in January 2013. She also completed her postdoc at the ICB-CNR in 2013. Since 2016, she has been a permanent researcher in the group of Dr. Di Marzo Vincenzo, coordinator of the Endocannabinoid Research Group, and Canada Excellence Research Chair in the Microbiome-Endocannabinoidome Axis in Metabolic Health at Laval University in Quebec City. She is a member of the IUPAC Subcommittee on Publications and the editorial board. Her research interests include endocannabinoids, lipidomics, mass spectrometry, neuroscience, and the microbiome.
