Stanislav Shidlovskiy, Doctor of Science in Engineering (Automation), is a Professor and Dean of the Faculty of Innovation Technologies at Tomsk State University (Tomsk, Russia), where he teaches the theory of control systems, system simulation, system engineering, navigation, and embedded systems. His current research interests include system simulation, control systems, robotics, vision systems, reconfigurable computing environments, and intelligent control systems. He has published about 40 articles/conference papers indexed in Scopus/Web of Science and more than 100 publications indexed in Russian citation systems. Professor Shidlovskiy was awarded by the Russian Union of Scientific and Engineering Public Organizations in the Field of Science and Technology "Hope of Russia" and the Russian Academy of Sciences as a young scientist of RAS in 2009. He has successfully finished several projects (in the field of robotics) as a leader with support from the Ministry of Science and High Education of Russia and the Russian Foundation for Basic Research.
