Qi Wang received his BMed (2004) and MSc (2007) from China Medical University (China), and a Ph.D. (2012) from Osaka City University Medical School (Japan). He worked at the Department of Legal Medicine, Osaka City University Medical School as a Research Assistant (2007–2008) and an Assistant Professor (2012–2013). He was an Associate Professor of the School of Forensic Medicine at the Southern Medical University in 2013–2021, where he is now a Professor of Forensic Pathology. He specializes in the fields of forensic pathology, forensic toxicology, and environmental forensic science.
