Marina Ramos is a Professor at the Department of Analytical Chemistry, Nutrition and Food Science, University of Alicante where she received her degree in Chemistry and PhD in Chemistry in 2008 and 2016, respectively. She has been invited as a speaker at many conferences and has presented her work in 67 international forums and has published 37 research papers in high impact factor journals in Chemistry, Food Technology and Polymer Science. Her research interests are chemical and physical characterization of (bio)polymers, extraction of natural additives from agricultural residues, antioxidant, antimicrobial and degradation studies, chemistry and new design systems for encapsulation and nanocomposites, as well as development and validation of new analytical methods.
