Alexandre Rasi Aoki has a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering by Federal University of Itajubá, Brazil, since 2003. He has more than 15 years of experience working in an Institute of Research developing R&D projects to Brazilian Power Utilities. He is also a Professor of the Federal University of Paraná, Brazil, supervising Ph.D., Master, and undergrad students. He is a Senior Member of IEEE and Convener of the Brazilian Study Committee C6 - Active Distribution Systems and Distributed Energy Resources - of Cigre.
