Przemysław Kopeć is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Cell Biology, The Franciszek Górski Institute of Plant Physiology PAS, Krakow, Poland (2018–Present). His research is devoted to the biology of crops and is related to problems affecting agriculture and plant breeding. He has devoted himself to work on two issues: the embryogenesis of microspores and the resistance of crops to unfavorable environmental conditions. He studies changes in the proteome and the physiology of plant tissues/cells and analyzes the activity of key metabolic enzymes and the efficiency of the antioxidant system.
