I am an Assistant Professor at the University of Maia (UMAIA). I also regularly teach in postgraduate programs in sports performance at the European University (UE) and in seminars at the University of Beira Interior (UBI). My area of specialization is in sports coaching and performance analysis, specifically in the sport of football (soccer). In terms of teaching, I have focused on undergraduate programs in Sports Science and Physical Education, as well as on Master's degrees in Sports Coaching and Physical Education Teaching, where I teach courses such as i) Complementary Technical-Sports Training, ii) The Sports Coach and Training Exercise, iii) Training Load Optimization and Sports Planning, iv) Sports Training Methodology, v) Reduced Games, vi) Multidisciplinary and Sports Training, vii) Observation and Analysis of Sports Performance, and viii) Applied Performance Analysis; however, my area of intervention extends to other related courses such as ix) Learning and Motor Development, x) Performance Optimization (Long-Term Sports Development), and xi) Applied Research in Sports Coaching.
