Dr. Cheng Wei Tony Yang is the Research & Industry Partnerships Manager at the UBC Centre for Heart Lung Innovation (HLI). In this role, he works closely with the Senior Leadership Team and external academic, non-academic, and industry partners to identify strategic research initiatives and potential collaboration opportunities to enhance the training environment for undergraduate, graduate and postdoctoral researchers. Dr. Yang is also the Translational Research Program Manager of Airway Centre at UBC and Providence Health Care (PHC). In this capacity, he is building a multi- and inter-disciplinary research team that is developing novel biomarker and therapeutic solutions, and accelerating knowledge translation and commercialization activities.
