He gained his BSc, MSc and PhD in industrial engineering. He is a Lean six-sigma belt holder, a certified graduate technologist, and a certified professional in engineering management. Consequently, most of his research and consultation works are related to engineering management, industrial management, and management/business engineering. Prior to joining the University of Gothenburg in 2019, he worked with different industries, business schools and universities. Throughout his career, he has published a number of articles in reputable journals and conference proceedings. Currently, he is a full professor at the Department of Business Administration. His teaching takes place largely within the Master's Program in Logistics and Transport Management. Additionally, he has participated as a lecturer in Bachelor’s degree courses for IFEL, Industrial and Financial Management & Logistics section.
