Dr. Louis A. Tremblay is an Environmental Toxicologist at Cawthron Institute and the University of Auckland. He obtained his Ph.D. Zoology from the University of Guelph, Guelph, Ontario, Canada (1998) and his M.Sc. Microbiology from the McGill University, Montreal, Quebec, Canada (1993). His science specialties include toxicology, mechanisms of toxicity, physiology, and biomarkers. He has interests in environmental protection, human health, and food safety.
