About Me
Jun Itami graduated from Chiba University School of Medicine in 1981; was affiliated with the Department of Radiation Therapy Essen University in Germany from 1983 to 1984; was chairman of the Department of Radiation Oncology, National Cancer Center Hospital from 2008 to 2021; and is currently the director of the Shin-Matsudo Accuracy Radiation Therapy (SMART) Center. He specializes in brachytherapy, MRI-guided radiation therapy, boron neutron capture therapy, radiation oncology of head and neck cancer, GYN, GU, and hematological malignancies.
