Zhiyong Tao received a Ph.D. degree from  Liaoning Technical University. He worked as a Visiting Scholar with the Clausthal University of Technology, Germany, in 2006. Since 2008, he has been working as a Professor and a Master Tutor at Liaoning Technical University. His main research interests include the Internet of Things, machine learning, and biometric recognition, with rich project and engineering experience.
