Claudia Patricia Larralde Corona's (Paty Larralde) research expertise deals with the use of fungi for metabolite production, the biological protection of crops, and the valorization of agricultural residues. For the last 24 years, she has worked as a full-time professor for the National Polytechnical Institute at the Center for Genomic Biotechnology (CBG-IPN), where she is interested in the microorganisms present in agave plants and citrus fruits.
