Professor Dr. Shaohui Wang is a full professor, doctoral supervisor, and chief scientist of the Innovation Team on Animal Bacterial Infectious Diseases at the Shanghai Veterinary Research Institute (SHVRI), Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences (CAAS). He received his Ph.D. from Nanjing Agricultural University in 2011. Professor Wang has been recognized as an Outstanding Staff Member at the Shanghai Veterinary Research Institute (SHVRI), CAAS, in 2013, 2014, 2016, 2019, and 2022. His research focuses on Escherichia coli, Salmonella, epidemiology, detection methods, pathogenic mechanisms, innate immunity, vaccine development, and bacteriophage applications.
